The roof box that’s a boat! Easy!!

Car roof boxes providing additional luggage space for individuals and families are commonplace.  We however have quite literally turned a concept on its head and created Boatbox.  Apart from providing that additional storage whilst on the vehicle as a roof box our Boatboxes are easily removed and turned over to become proper unsinkable little boats.

With patents pending each model in the range is capable of rowing, sailing or motoring with an electric or petrol outboard motor.  The base unit can also be removed from the roof bars and locked in place on the boat as a lid providing additional secure and watertight stowage.

Manufactured from lightweight and robust ABS plastic our core products cost less than some of the upmarket roof boxes available in the high street and yet offer so much more!

    Mark,
I ordered a BB180 at the NEC Show (order No 181609).
During the sales discussion you (Mark) sais that I could have a more powerful electric motor and that i should look at the Minn Kota website. This I have done but as I do not know the model number of the motor that you are presently offering I cannot make a decision. I am also not sure how to distinguish the various power ratios of the motors. I hope that you can help me with this problem. Yours. Ian Atkinson.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you after the recent shows.

As standard we offer the Minn Kota Endura C2 electric outboard. This pushes Boatbox along quite nicely but there are better units available. in particular Minn Kota recommend their Traxis 45 which is more powerful but importantly the Traxis products have range extending electronics meaning you will get a greater range. We can offer the Traxis 45 at £249 inc

Love the Boatbox Mark. Highlight of The Outdoors Show for me. Have nudged my wife for a birthday hint. Best of luck with it all. Once we get SkogstadUK off the ground, might be back in touch to discuss Welsh dealer possibility!
